Hesselberg Hydro's Dutch subsidiary goes from strength to strength with its joint venture company Hydraphalt vof.  Hydraphalt vof was set up in 2005 in combination with Ooms Construction bv, part of Ooms Avenhorn Groep bv.

So far in 2008 Hydraphalt vof has supplied over 40,000 tonnes of bituminous grout to coastal defence projects in Zierikzee, Schelphoek, Westkapelle and Onrustpolder.

The development of a new on-site mixing unit capable of producing over 120 tonnes grout/hour has led to unprecedented placing rates and the successful installation of over 150,000 tonnes grout since 2005 on 12 projects throughout The Netherlands.
